The Grand Strand Music Festival is set to take place from June 1 – 30, 2024, featuring more than 30 spectacular performances. The lineup includes operas, musical theater, choral-orchestral works, Broadway numbers, voice recitals, chamber music, and a Master Artists Concert Series with notable artists from The Metropolitan Opera and other distinguished institutions. The Carolina Country Music Fest® (CCMF) is an annual three-day outdoor country music festival held in June at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Notable features include booths, VIP areas, and various concessions. The 2024 festival will occur from June 6-9, showcasing stars like Carrie Underwood, Lady A, Morgan Wallen, Megan Moroney, Lee Brice, Old Dominion, Parker McCollum and more!. Pawleys Island July Fourth Parade: On Tuesday, July 4, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., join the amusing, nostalgic, and patriotic parade at Pawleys Island Town Hall. Decorate your golf cart, car, boat, or truck bed with patriotic red, white, and blue colors for a chance to win prizes.

Fifteen years ago, friends Johnny Folsom and Toddy Smith, inspired while celebrating the 4th of July on the beach, decided to honor military personnel serving overseas. Their idea has evolved into a cherished tradition. Every 4th of July, spectators gather at North Myrtle Beach for a patriotic flyover by military aircraft starting at 1 P.M. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, bring flags, and wear their best red, white, and blue to show support in an event known as Salute from the Shore.
